A travel company that came out of a consultancy

Global Corporate Travel exists because managing travel for consultants is a different job from managing travel for an office. Consulting travel is driven by project schedules that move. A team mobilises to a plant in a secondary market at short notice, the engagement extends by three weeks, and the same travellers rotate out to a different site the following month.

We were built inside that problem rather than adapted to it. The desk is organised around engagements, not cost centres, and the people staffing it understand why a consultant needs to be on the ground Monday at 7am and why the Thursday evening flight home matters.

Global Corporate Travel operates as a sister company within a wider professional-services group, built to serve the travel needs of consulting teams in the field.

Our footprint follows our travellers. Of the 147 destinations we have routed consultants to, 104 are in the United States, Canada or Mexico — including the industrial and secondary markets where project work concentrates and where most corporate rate programmes thin out. Beyond North America we run established corridors into Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America, covering 37 countries.

We are a travel management company, not a tour operator and not a marketplace. We do not sell leisure packages and we do not publish fares. Our clients are firms with consultants in the field, and the service is a managed programme with named contacts and accountability for the whole trip.
