What we do
The whole trip, start to finish
Global Corporate Travel handles corporate travel for consulting teams working on client sites. The list below is what that covers in practice.
01
Booking and itinerary management
Air, hotel, rail and ground transport, booked against the engagement rather than against an individual. Travellers can book themselves or hand it to us; either way the itinerary lands in one place. Changes are handled by the same desk that made the original booking, so nobody re-explains the trip from the beginning.
- Multi-city and multi-week project rotations
- Same-day and next-day rebooking on schedule changes
- Group travel for full project teams mobilising together
- Preferred seating, loyalty numbers and traveller profiles held on file
02
Traveller support
A staffed desk during business hours and an emergency line outside them. When a flight cancels, the person who answers already has the itinerary, the project and the traveller's history in front of them.
- Business-hours desk with named contacts
- 24/7/365 emergency line for travel in progress
- Disruption rebooking without waiting in an airline queue
- Escalation path that does not restart with each handoff
03
Duty of care and traveller tracking
Knowing where people are is the baseline obligation of sending them abroad. We maintain current traveller locations, surface destination risk before travel is approved, and run welfare checks when circumstances call for them.
- Live traveller location reporting for the client's operations team
- Pre-trip destination risk and entry-condition briefings
- Welfare checks and incident escalation procedures
- Evacuation and emergency-assistance coordination
04
Visa, permit and documentation support
Cross-border project work carries documentation requirements that are easy to get wrong and expensive to get wrong late. We check entry conditions before travel is booked, not after a traveller has been turned around at a border.
- Entry requirement checks at the point of booking
- Business visa and work permit application guidance
- Passport validity and onward-travel condition monitoring
- Country-specific documentation for cross-border assignments
05
Cost allocation and reporting
Project travel is usually billable, which makes clean allocation a finance requirement rather than a nicety. Spend is tagged to the engagement at the point of booking so it reconciles without someone rebuilding it from receipts at month end.
- Spend tagged by project, client and traveller
- Billable and non-billable separation at source
- Policy compliance reporting and out-of-policy flagging
- Consolidated invoicing and reconciliation support
06
Supplier and rate programme
We hold negotiated rates with hotels and carriers in the cities we route to most, including the secondary industrial markets where project work actually happens and where corporate rate programmes usually run out.
- Negotiated hotel rates in primary and secondary markets
- Airline and car rental programme access
- Extended-stay arrangements for long engagements
- Supplier performance reviewed against actual traveller experience
